Wings of Promise Catering began in July 2000. This business was birthed from a promise from God. We believed God would use Wings of Promise Catering to touch the lives of people that we did business with and the employees that would work in our business. Our desire is not just to be business owners and offer Southern Style Food with an upscale flair, but to be a blessing to those that we meet along the way.

The first 2 years of Wings of Promise we catered to about 100 mile radius of the Chattanooga area. Our first location was on 7429 East Brainerd Rd., Chattanooga, TN. Delivery was available to as far as Huntsville, AL for a period of time. We believe God gave us such a broad delivery area for a season so that we could spread the name of our business to as many people as possible. In 2002, we began what we called “Meals To Go.” This was the early version of what we call Take & Bake today. Though our location on East Brainerd Rd. was great for visibility, it was very difficult to get in and out of, so that led us to searching for a larger and easier accessible location. After two years of looking, we decided on a GREAT building in Chickamauga, GA. Our delivery area was still very wide and we were in this area as well as Calhoun, Dalton and Rome, Ga on a regular basis. Our catering business was very blessed with corporate luncheons/ dinners, weddings, anniversaries, medical luncheon/dinners, showers and any occasion where a caterer was needed. Once relocating to Chickamauga we began to get very involved in the community, the Chamber of Commerce and anywhere we believed was a good fit for Wings of Promise.

Also, once we moved to the building in Chickamauga with such a great parking lot, our Take & Bake division of our business exploded. We were so pleased with the growth that we experienced in this area. Not only was it a good business experience, but it also gave us even more one on one interaction with our customers. We experimented with several other business ventures while in Chickamauga, for a season in 2005 we opened and ran the restaurant Cove Pointe in downtown Chickamauga. As much as we loved the restaurant, our catering business and our retail store were far too busy to transition solely into the restaurant business. We had to make a decision on which direction our focus had to go, we decided it would go with Take & Bake and Wings of Promise Catering.

In 2006, a very talented individual from the Chickamauga area had developed the Interstate Commerce Center on Cloud Springs Road. Gas prices had begun to soar and we had noticed an available suite, thinking of it for a Take & Bake store only in the beginning. However, once we met with the landlord and looked over the space, we knew for visibility, convenience and fuel savings it was time to get close to the interstate again and make the Interstate Commerce Center the new home of Take & Bake and Wings of Promise Catering.

The year 2009 represents some change for us. Take & Bake is now offered for Delivery.  Catering is still available for all occasions.  However, we no longer have our retail store and kitchen at 4203 Cloud Springs Rd., Ringgold, GA.  In lieu of all the changes in the economy during 2008, we teamed up with another local caterer (Double Portion Catering) and now in a combined effort we have so many exciting things to offer our customers.

We are very blessed and appreciative of what God has done for us over these last several years. We are excited and anticipate even greater things to come in the future.
